The Sandbox Never Looked THIS Good!

Before we begin, I have to say this: If you don’t own a Portals NFT, get’cha one — or more — before the price is really out of sight.

With that public-service announcement done… I woke up this morning to this rendering. It’s an Onyx demo room in the Portals metaverse now taking shape on the Solana network.

Honestly … I felt like a 12-year-old who wakes up to a snow day that has closed all the schools — for the next month!

I mean, look at that space. It’s like someone jumped into my brain and asked, “What kind of uber-hip New York City-meets-Mayfair (in London) artsy, old-warehouse-district loft would Jeff like to live in?”

And boom goes the dynamite!

What I’m trying to say is: Daaaa-um!

The metaverse cannot get here fast enough.

Just imagine yourself as yourself (in avatar form — go see Metahero) wandering around this space. You’re wearing a pair of Apple glasses (soon to come out) or something similar (not the boxy VR headsets common today). You idly play a bit of digital pool. You wander over to the PacMan machine for a bit of Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde, before settling onto the couch to watch “the big game” on what will effectively be a 1,000-inch Ultra High Definition TV that is all-encompassing in your field of view.
